صَدِيقُكَ مَنْ صَدَقَكَ لَا مَنْ صَدَّقَكَ

تیرا دوست وہ ہے جو تجھے سچ کہے — نہ وہ جو ہر بات پر ہاں کہے۔

Your true friend is one who is honest with you — not one who only agrees with you.

اتَّبِعْ أَهْوَاءَكَ تُضَلَّ

ہر خواہش کے پیچھے مت چل — ورنہ گمراہ ہو جائے گا۔

Do not follow every desire — or you will be led astray without noticing.

الصَّمْتُ حِكْمَةٌ

خاموشی بھی حکمت ہے — زیادہ بولنا انسان کو کمزور کر دیتا ہے۔

Silence is wisdom — excessive speech weakens a person.
